A journey of healing begins with listening.
I’m energized when afforded the opportunity to help others. I am passionate about inspiring individuals about their current and future potential when they may have difficulty envisioning it. I count it a great privilege to provide a safe space where individuals can be heard and receive encouragement in the midst of their challenges.
I know first-hand the value of an integrative approach when it comes to theology and psychology. As a Seminary Graduate, Ordained Minister, and former Associate Pastor, I have had the privilege of providing individuals with psychotherapeutic support that integrates faith into their journey for solutions. I have experience in churches, agencies, and private practice. I am willing to support individuals from a Christian worldview upon request.
Life doesn’t make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all.
Creating a strong therapeutic alliance with individuals to better understand their challenges is a paramount goal at David Dwarka Counselling Services. This affords the opportunity for a unique approach to be established for the purpose of developing appropriate therapeutic goals.
Examples of presenting issues in which counselling support is offered for include, but are not limited to:
- Chronic Pain
- Life Transitions
- Social Anxiety
